How can you help?

We need help in various roles. You can become involved as a volunteer who works in book drives, helps us spread the word, and helps deliver and collect the books. Or become a library host and manage a home library at your home. We are always in need of books (preferred) and/or money to grow our network of home libraries.of

Host a home Library

Support us by working with us on different projects. We need volunteers for:

• Deliver and pick up books from certain locations. Many of our readers are senior citizens and they don't and some can't even leave their homes to often. We need help delivering and picking up books from their residences or temples they visit or senior citizen samaj meetings.

• We need help with book drives

• We need volunteers every time we start a new library to help them organize the initial inventory.

• Can you translate small stories from Gujarati to English or write a Blog in both languages? please contact us.

Help us grow our library network and outreach.

We currently have 8 libraries in DFW area and are working on adding more to the network. The Library Host will need to commit anywhere from 4-8 hours a week and be available by email or phone for inquiries.

Other tasks include:

• Keeping an inventory of books

• Following up with borrowers for the return

• Coordinate with other volunteers who may pick up and drop off the books
